Our Sustainable, Recyclable Product Packaging

Inspiring circular skincare with packaging that protects both your skin and the planet.

Revived skincare upcycled product sitting beside the sink

The beauty industry faces a real challenge when it comes to throwaway plastics. It is no secret that millions of cosmetic containers end up in landfill every year. But rather than dwelling on the problem, we want to focus on a better way to care for your skin and the planet.

At Revived, our mission is to replace unsustainable habits with circular solutions. We believe each ritual is a step towards reducing our environmental impact, which is why we have poured so much time into creating sustainable packaging for our skincare range. We want to ensure you receive the highest quality products while making it incredibly easy to recycle every element at home.

Why we chose glass and aluminium as our core materials

When creating our coffee oil, we needed a material that would protect its active properties. We chose amber glass dropper bottles because the dark glass prevents sunlight degradation, ensuring every drop retains its quality. The dropper gives you precise control over exactly how much oil you apply, meaning there is no mess and no waste. Glass is completely recyclable, and you can easily pop it into your household glass collection.

For our Mocha body scrub, we use aluminium tins. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable, and our tins are made using 100% post-consumer recycled waste. This directly prevents cans and bottles from going to landfill, a vital part of our commitment to circular sustainability. These tins are highly durable and safe to keep in the shower, keeping your scrub fresh from one use to the next.

100% sustainable cardboard boxes

Both the coffee oil and mocha body scrub arrive in thoughtfully designed cardboard boxes. The paperboard is made from 100% recycled fibre, including 25% recycled coffee cup fibre. Manufactured in the Lake District right here in the UK using green energy, this process diverts millions of coffee cups from landfill and significantly reduces our carbon footprint. We also use vegetable oil based inks for all the printing.

The reason for choosing Mono PP pouches

Our newest addition, the Revived peppermint coffee body scrub, is packaged in a Mono PP material pouch. We chose this because it is 100% recyclable and incredibly lightweight. It meets all regulatory standards to keep the scrub safe and fresh in the bath or shower, maintaining its quality over time.

Easy recycling at home

We want to make the end of your skincare routine as calming as the beginning. Here is how it works:

  • Aluminium tins: Simply rinse them out and place them in your standard recycling bin.
  • Amber glass bottles: Put the bottle in your glass recycling. The glass pipette can also be recycled if you carefully separate it from the lid. The lid goes into your mixed materials recycling.
  • Mono PP pouches: Just rinse the pouch and add it to your household plastic recycling.
  • Cardboard boxes: These can go straight into your paper recycling bin

Together we can turn upcycled ingredients into something worthwhile. By choosing fully recyclable materials, we are reducing our carbon footprint while giving you complete control over your daily routine.
